REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in consultative B2B sales.
  • Extensive experience in lead generation and driving growth in newmarkets.
  • A strong background in SaaS and Cloud computing-based sales models.
  • Conf ident using CRM, ERP and other relevant sales and operationsplatforms.
  • Experience working with HR intermediaries.
  • Ability to analyse business in a broader / long-term perspective (anticipating educational trends and institutions).
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Availability for travel across Mexico.

Responsibilities
  • Drive business growth by def ining targets, strategies, and go-tomarket activities in collaboration with the ELS Sales Line Manager.
  • Expand Pearson’s footprint in Mexico by developing and executing a business development strategy for Banking & Finance, Hospitality, Nearshoring, Pharma, and other key industries.
  • Sell Pearson’s English Language Learning, Sof t Skills, and Digital Skills solutions to HR Directors, Training Managers, and decisionmakers in corporations, tertiary institutions, and government departments.
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams through market research in the Enterprise training sector.
  • Engage with HR intermediaries to expand business opportunities.
  • Lead high-value negotiations with major corporate clients, securing long-term contracts.
  • Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ensuring an active f low of qualif ied opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Operations) to align Pearson’s solutions with market demands.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to ref ine business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent Pearson at industry events and business conferences, traveling as needed to meet clients and stakeholders.
