Create impact as a Corporate Communications Advisor Your Role Join IAG as a Media & Communications Advisor and help shape the public voice of some of Australasia’s most trusted insurance brands, including NRMA Insurance, CGU and WFI. In this dynamic role, you’ll respond to media enquiries, support proactive storytelling, and manage issues that impact IAG’s reputation. You’ll collaborate across teams to craft compelling communications, build strong media relationships, and take a digital-first approach to content creation. If you’re a strategic thinker with sharp writing skills and a passion for purpose-driven communications, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact. This is a permanent opportunity based in Gadigal Country (Sydney). About You 5+ years’ experience in a senior corporate & financial communications role in-house or in an agency and/ or as a senior journalist. Corporate communications experience preferable. Excellent and persuasive written, verbal and presentation skills. Ability to produce communications strategies, media releases and supporting materials for IAG, its brands and leaders. A deep understanding of the way external stakeholders – particularly media, governments and consumer and community advocates operate. Initiative, curiosity and a can do attitude. Attention to detail. Proven ability to actively keep abreast of changes in the external environment. Courage and ability to challenge and influence ideas and executives.
