Position Title: Corporate Communications Manager
Reports To: AVP, Corporate Communications and Philanthropy
Department: Corporate Communications
Term: Permanent Full-Time
Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

Responsibilities
  • Create and execute communications strategies, including writing, creating, publishing and managing corporate communications and content for Equitable’s external and internal audiences.
  • Develop communication programs and vehicles (news releases, partner communications, intranet site, town halls, presentations, etc.).
  • Create corporate communications content on our intranet site and website
  • Contribute to our internal weekly news digest.
  • Work with subject matter experts and leaders from across the organization to identify and develop content.
  • Manage and maintain the corporate communications calendar, its processes and standards.
  • Work with AVP, Corporate Communications and Philanthropy, team members and lines of business to assist in developing long-term strategic communications for Equitable’s key initiatives and programs.
  • Work with internal clients to design and implement communication plans to support project objectives.
  • Work with content owners to ensure communications are accurate and compliant with our corporate standards.
  • Monitor communications trends and technologies and identify those that

would benefit Equitable.

  • Provide support to the AVP, Corporate Communications and Philanthropy, on executive communications and distribution.
  • Create video content including scripts and storyboards and work with our Digital Content Specialist to create and produce videos for internal and external communications.
  • Support and promote Equitable’s philanthropy and charitable giving programs
