Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced communicator to help tell the Bank’s story and bring our purpose to life. You’ll plan, develop and deliver engaging content for our Technology and Innovation businesses with a focus on supporting customer-focused external and internal communication programs that include media relations, digital communications, thought leadership and social media.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who has superior stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, proven experience in media relations, storytelling and executing events, as well as navigating issues.

Responsibilities:

  • 7-12 years of experience in corporate communications or agency environment.
  • Strong track record in both proactive and reactive media relations. Experience working with journalists and publications focused on technology/innovation.
  • Strong interest in the technology sector with ability to understand complex technology trends and translate into simplified messages.
  • Exceptional writing skills and a passion for storytelling. Experience managing editorial calendars.
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative communications strategies to effectively drive business objectives and use data and analytics to track results.
  • Proven experience providing communications counsel and issues management to business partners and senior executives, managing complex corporate issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines; self-starter highly motivated to deliver results and ability to work independently.
  • Very strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact with individuals and groups across all organizational levels.
  • You can deliver success independently on deadline but as a team leader, you help colleagues and others across the bank achieve success collaboratively.
  • Undergraduate degree or PR/marketing/corporate communications certification, designations, or equivalent preferred.
