Overview Summary The Corporate Communications Specialist is responsible for enhancing C1’s brand awareness through effective social media strategies and corporate communications initiatives. This role requires a self-starter, strong writer, and highly organized individual capable of managing multiple projects to success. Extensive understanding of public relations, content marketing and social media trends are critical aspects of this position to enable creation of compelling stories. Responsibilities Essential Functions Creates compelling content for internal and external audiences: press releases, media pitches, social content, and corporate announcements Assists in the development and implementation of public relations campaigns to boost brand visibility Manages and grows the company’s social media presence across various platforms Schedules and posts social media content, collaborating with the campaigns team Collaborates within the marketing team to align PR and social media strategies with overall marketing goals Monitors media coverage and social media trends, providing insights and recommendations for improvement Develops and maintains relationships with key media contacts and influencers Assists in the creation of marketing materials, including newsletters, blog posts, and other digital content Coordinates and supports the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events/meetings such as company town halls, and media interviews Contributes to the company’s internal communication efforts, fostering a positive and engaging internal communication environment Tracks and reports on the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or related field Strong written and verbal communication skills One to three years of experience in the fields of public relations, advertising, journalism, branding, social media and/or marketing Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and ability to interact with colleagues at all levels Excellent time management and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task Ability to work independently Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Additional Information Work EnvironmentAbility to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment.
