Description

Assists the System Director, Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Compliance with accomplishment of the goals of the PIH Health Corporate Compliance Program. Responsible for assisting in compliance investigations, reviews, and audits, facilitating patient requests related to medical record amendments, analyzing pertinent data, tracking corporate compliance hotline reports and patient privacy events, providing compliance and HIPAA training to staff and physicians, conducting research on compliance issues and regulations, production of materials, presentations, reports and correspondence, coordination of day-to-day activities, scheduling and participation of committee and other meetings as directed, and duties and projects as assigned. Performs high-level administrative duties, in accordance with departmental objectives and work plan, ensuring optimal productivity. Contributes significantly to the effective operation of the overall PIH Health Corporate Compliance Program and all related compliance and patient privacy and security activities.
