What You’ll Do Oversee all corporate accounting operations, including general ledger, payroll, tax compliance, and treasury functions; Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and applicable regulations; Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff to achieve high performance and professional growth; Manage accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure efficiency and accuracy; Direct monthly and annual close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses; Coordinate and lead external audits and tax reviews; Develop, implement, and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity; Provide financial analysis, forecasts, budgets, and KPI reporting to support informed decision-making; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize ERP systems and streamline financial workflows; Support strategic initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and process enhancements; Lead special projects and continuous improvement efforts that advance the organization’s financial capabilities; Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements What Makes You a Great Fit Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Accounting) preferred; CPA designation strongly preferred; Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities with the ability to mentor and motivate effectively; Experience managing multi-entity or multi-location financial operations; Background in oilfield services, energy, or industrial operations preferred; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Outlook) and experience with ERP or financial management systems; Advanced knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control best practices; Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities; Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with executive leadership; High ethical standards and sound judgment in handling financial data; Ability to excel in a dynamic, deadline-driven business environment.
