Your role on the team: (job description) * Structures, drafts, and negotiates complex commercial agreements and contracts.  * Work with multiple business teams to draft detailed and complex statements of work and other key exhibits and documents.  * Advises executives within the company and works alongside employees in the Contract Logistics and Transportation Management units in addition to Corporate Support functions.  * Advises executive team on contract status and legal risks in new commercial ventures.  * Manages various projects and deadlines.  * Provides training and development support to Paralegals within the department.  * Maintains strong working knowledge of legislative changes that may affect company, customers, and/or affiliates.  * Performs pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights.  * Effectively communicates legal risks with executive staff. What you need: (requirements) * Membership in good standing with at least one state bar required.  * Must be able to practice law in at least one state.  * 4+ years of legal experience as a transactional attorney, preferably with experience in commercial transactions and mergers and acquisitions  * PC literate with a command of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook  * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Bonus if you have: (Preferred requirements) * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual.  * Ability to write detailed reports and correspondence.  * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  * Ability to perform duties using project management principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.  * Ability to draft contractual requirements.  * Superior problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills.  * Ability to provide clear and direct communications both verbally and in written form.  * Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage own work.  * Self –motivated and able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
