About The Role
G2 is looking for a Corporate Development Associate to help shape the company’s strategic direction. This role works closely with senior leadership, including the CFO and CEO, on strategic planning, operational improvement initiatives, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
You will evaluate market opportunities, lead cross-functional projects, and bring clear insights to support executive decision-making. It is a highly visible role where you can make an impact from day one while gaining exposure across the entire organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, corporate development, or a strategy-focused role.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to executives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ownership mindset with a focus on results and data-driven decisions

Responsibilities

In This Role, You Will Support:

Corporate Development

  • Support all stages of the M&A process: sourcing, monitoring targets, evaluating opportunities, due diligence, deal execution, and integration.
  • Conduct market and strategic analyses such as SWOT and TAM to evaluate business models and trends.
  • Coordinate diligence across leadership, product, finance, legal, and other teams.
  • Build dashboards and presentations to track and assess M&A opportunities.
  • Support post-deal reviews and Board updates on M&A activity.

Strategic Planning

  • Partner with FP&A and leadership on the annual strategic planning process.
  • Gather and synthesize information, contribute to presentations, and help drive follow-up actions.
  • Review performance of key investments against approved business cases.

Strategic Projects

  • Lead ad hoc projects such as international growth analysis, build vs. buy evaluations, cost reduction initiatives, or new revenue model assessments.
  • Provide support to the CEO on thought leadership and external presentations.
  • Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and process improvements.
  • Assist with investor relations by preparing research and presentations for meetings.
