ABOUT THE ROLE:

8am is in search of hardworking and versatile manager to join our team! Our managers are highly visible leaders, building bridges across 8am to ensure projects are effectively planned, developed, integrated and delivered with quality and on time delivery. Our managers also coach/mentor teams, act as change agents, generate excitement and raise awareness of critical business initiatives across the company.
Being part of the Corporate Development & Corporate Strategy team, the manager will cross collaborate within the entire organization including the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Expect to interact with a group of bright, motivated engineers, marketers, support and sales staff passionate about building and delivering the next generation of FinTech products.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead operational due diligence workstreams for potential acquisitions, including analysis of target company financials, business models, and operational metrics; collaborate on financial, legal, and other diligence work streams
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to evaluate strategic fit of potential targets
  • Prepare materials, including deal rationale, valuation analysis, and risk assessments
  • Coordinate cross-functional due diligence teams including legal, tax, technology, product, and HR
  • Support deal negotiations by providing analytical insights and maintaining deal documentation
  • Manage data rooms, information requests, and diligence trackers throughout the transaction process
  • Support post-merger integration planning by developing synergy models and integration roadmaps
  • Track and report on integration milestones and synergy realization
