Department Overview Corporate Development Supervisory Department is responsible for strategic planning and execution of M&As, capital alliances, joint ventures, and business sales (including listing) for the entire group. These include domestic projects as well as global projects. Both Strategic Investment Section (SIS) and Strategic Alliance Section (SAS), we manage M&A, divestiture deals, and at SAS we focus more on JV, alliance types of deals. Position: Why We Hire To recruit candidate for the future head of the organization. Position Details We are looking for candidate who can lead corporate development projects for the entire group. You will be required to have hard skills in management, finance, legal, valuation, etc., and to be able to communicate smoothly with internal stakeholders such as management, business departments, and corporate departments, as well as external stakeholders such as legal and accounting experts and FAs. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to think and work independently to research, analyze, prepare documents, and make presentations for the success of the project, as well as provide accurate reporting to top management, including CEO, and manage and guide team members. This is a very important department that plays a pivotal role in the management of Rakuten Group, which is now taking on a major challenge.
