Description Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid - 3-4 days/week in office) Reports to: Chief Financial Officer Experience Level: 2-4 years Position Overview LineVision is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Development Manager to support the CFO and CEO with critical business operations spanning fundraising, customer proposals, legal contract management, and strategic projects. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with 2-4 years of experience to gain broad exposure to all aspects of running a high-growth technology company. This role reports to the CFO and serves both the CFO and CEO on mission-critical initiatives. You'll work directly with senior leadership while developing versatile skills across finance, legal, sales, and operations. The ideal candidate is planning to pursue law school or business school within 2-3 years and wants to build a strong foundation through hands-on experience with contracts, fundraising, and executive operations. Key Responsibilities Equity Fundraising Support (25%) Assist with preparation of investor materials, pitch decks, and data room documentation Coordinate due diligence processes with potential investors and external legal counsel Maintain cap table documentation and equity-related agreements Support active fundraising efforts and investor relations for future rounds Track fundraising pipeline and manage investor communications Help prepare materials for board meetings and investor updates Customer Proposal Development (25%) Draft and review commercial proposals, RFP responses, and SOW documents Coordinate cross-functional input from engineering, operations, and finance teams Ensure proposal accuracy regarding pricing, terms, and technical specifications Maintain proposal templates and process documentation Support contract negotiations with customer legal teams Legal & Contract Management (30%) Review, organize, and track customer agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and HR-related documents Coordinate contract review process with external legal counsel for major agreements Maintain contract management system and ensure compliance with key terms Flag key contract provisions, deadlines, and renewal dates Draft standard agreements and amendments using established templates Support employment offer letters and other routine legal documents Serve as point of contact for routine contract questions across the organization General Administration & Project Management (20%) Manage special projects as assigned by CFO and CEO Prepare board materials, reports, and executive presentations Coordinate meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-through Develop and maintain internal processes and documentation Support strategic initiatives requiring cross-functional coordination Interface with all departments as needed to support CEO and CFO priorities Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree required (any major) Experience: 2-4 years of relevant professional experience, which could include: Law firm roles (paralegal, legal assistant, clerk, or similar) Corporate legal department (contracts administrator, legal operations) Investment banking, private equity, or venture capital Management consulting or corporate strategy Business operations at a technology or startup company Any role demonstrating experience with legal documents and contracts Core Skills: Demonstrated experience reading, reviewing, and working with legal contracts and commercial agreements Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively with executives Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace Self-starter with ability to work independently and take ownership of projects Preferred (but not required): Planning to attend law school or business school within 2-5 years Prior exposure to technology companies, B2B sales, or regulated industries Experience with fundraising, investor relations, or startup financing Familiarity with commercial contract structures (SaaS, licensing, professional services) Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) Experience with contract management tools (e.g., DocuSign CLM, Ironclad, ContractWorks) Project management experience or certification Understanding of corporate governance, cap table management, or securities law Key Competencies Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex situations, identify issues, and propose practical solutions Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy when reviewing legal documents, financial information, and customer proposals Discretion & Judgment: Handle confidential information with appropriate sensitivity and demonstrate sound business judgment Proactive Ownership: Self-starter who anticipates needs, identifies opportunities for improvement, and takes initiative Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and ambiguous situations Collaboration: Work effectively with diverse stakeholders including executives, customers, investors, and external counsel Written Communication: Exceptional ability to draft clear, professional business and legal correspondence What We Offer Professional Development: Direct mentorship from CFO and CEO with extensive industry experience Exposure to all aspects of running a high-growth technology company Opportunity to build skills across finance, legal, operations, and strategy Strong foundation for law school, business school, or continued career growth Ideal 2-3 year developmental role for graduate school preparation Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary range: $75,000 -
