The position is responsible for guiding project management efforts and advising leadership on strategy, operations, process improvement, and financial matters. The role manages the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of key organizational projects. It also leads vendor management strategies within the Revenue Cycle to improve performance, reduce costs, and increase profitability. This position will support the implementation of an Enterprise Denial Management program to identify root causes of initial and fatal denials, driving significant improvements in cash collections. The role collaborates across Revenue Cycle teams and Operating Units to ensure alignment, coordination, and successful project outcomes. Success in this role requires ensuring projects meet scope, timeline, budget, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction requirements while delivering a high-quality experience for cross-functional participants. RESPONSIBILITIES The following responsibilities represent the essential duties of the role. This list is intended to provide an overview and is not exhaustive. Operations and Program Leadership Manage the day-to-day operations of the EHC Revenue Cycle Management office workstreams and operational redesign initiatives. Oversee the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of strategic projects. Ensure projects meet established time, scope, budget, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction goals. Strategic Partnership and Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with executives and department leaders to drive strategic prioritization and cross-functional alignment on projects. Collaborate with teams including Finance, Supply Chain, Care Coordination, IT, Physician Relations, and other functions as required. Foster organizational visibility and collaboration to ensure alignment across departments and initiatives. Project Planning and Execution Lead the development of program or project scope documentation, including: Project Charters Statements of Work (SOW) Business Vision Documents Work with stakeholders to identify required skills, timelines, and effort needed for successful project execution. Manage project performance and ensure deliverables comply with applicable standards, policies, and regulations. Performance Management and Analytics Determine key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure both organizational and financial performance. Conduct analysis of project outcomes and recommend improvements to enhance operational performance. Develop tools and reports to monitor and trend key metrics throughout the initiative lifecycle. Quality, Risk, and Governance Establish quality objectives, standards, and criteria using appropriate quality management methods. Develop and implement project risk and issue management plans, including mitigation, avoidance, transfer, or acceptance strategies. Ensure a seamless transition from project implementation to operational ownership. Vendor and Revenue Cycle Optimization Execute a focused vendor management strategy to improve vendor performance, reduce costs, and enhance profitability within the Revenue Cycle portfolio. Lead implementation of the Enterprise Denial Management program to identify root causes of claim denials and increase cash collections. Communication and Executive Support Act as a communication liaison between executive leadership and project teams. Prepare key presentations and communications for leadership audiences including: Board of Directors Executive meetings Conferences Employee forums Prepare talking points, scripts, and other communications on behalf of the CFO. Develop communication channels to ensure timely and accurate information sharing. Organizational Engagement Serve on internal committees as requested to support operational efficiencies and strategic initiatives. Foster engagement, accountability, and alignment across teams while tracking and reporting key metrics. Core Competencies Demonstrated industry insight with the ability to provide candid, thoughtful feedback on critical or confidential matters. Proven experience managing strategic programs and cross-functional initiatives. Ability to plan and lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage audiences at all organizational levels. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities. Strong leadership presence in fast-paced and evolving environments. Experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent work experience). 7+ years of experience in the hospital or healthcare industry in areas such as administration, operations, legal, service line development, process improvement, or finance. 3+ years of experience in IT, decision support, data analysis, or enterprise-level project management. Strong database and consulting skills. Healthcare operations experience preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
