Description

As a Corporate Engagement Manager at United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC), you will lead efforts to strengthen and expand corporate partnerships to drive revenue, deepen community impact, and elevate brand awareness. Your focus will be on cultivating sustainable, year-round relationships with mid-tier and emerging corporate partners, aligning their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals with UWGC’s mission-driven initiatives. This role requires a strategic, relationship-centered approach to support workplace campaigns, employee engagement, volunteerism, and sponsorships ensuring mutual value for both corporate partners and the community. This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Corporate Engagement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Five years of experience in sales, corporate affairs, fundraising, or public relations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to United Way’s mission and relationship-building approach.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic engagement plans for assigned corporate partners to increase giving, employee involvement, sponsorships, and advocacy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of mid-tier and newly engaged corporate accounts, building trust through consistent, value-driven engagement.
  • Cultivate deep, year-round partnerships by understanding each company’s culture, CSR priorities, and capacity for community investment.
  • Plan and execute workplace campaigns, volunteer events, and engagement opportunities that activate employees and maximize corporate impact.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts and prospect new partners for engagement across UWGC’s offerings, including sponsorships, grants, and corporate gifts.
  • Set annual growth goals for each account and develop customized strategies to achieve them.
  • Maintain detailed documentation in CRM (Salesforce), tracking interactions, goals, and outcomes.
  • Deliver United Way messaging through presentations and stakeholder engagement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, positioning UWGC as their go-to resource for community engagement.
