Leads development and implementation of strategic and business critical projects and initiatives in field locations including branches, depots, and stockrooms. Collaborates with the Regional Manager and the branch management teams to drive operational improvements. Project responsibilities include safety, environmental, maintenance oversight & guidance, process improvement, productivity, capacity, and facilities management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years minimum engineering experience in manufacturing and/or industrial operation(s) focused on process improvement and project management.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering preferred.

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency to deliver results
  • Ability to influence and gain alignment with business partners on critical needs
  • Ability to work with ambiguity on projects and achieve resolution
  • Creative problem solving
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with all levels of staff and management
  • Developing root cause analysis skills & a problem-solving approach

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, LICENSES, ETC:

  • AutoCad experience preferred
  • PLC programming knowledge preferred
  • Industrial wastewater experience a plus
  • Lean Manufacturing practice and/or certification a plus
