Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Develop requirements, specifications, and solutions for corporate enterprise networks from inception to completion under general supervision. Design, implement, and maintain a corporate, campus-wide Cisco LAN plant with Gigabit switching and routing to internal servers and external networks. Coordinate with Vendor Project Managers, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate technical solutions and user satisfaction. Provide expert technical support for network operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Integrate network hardware and software solutions to support organizational and mission objectives. Assist in planning and implementing network security, redundancy, and high availability solutions. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience Minimum of five (5) years of progressive IT experience, including at least two projects in technical areas aligned with the task requirements. At least one project within the past three (3) years demonstrating relevant expertise. Expert experience with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN equipment, software, and associated network hardware. Desired Experience and Skills Minimum three (3) years hands-on experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) IT hosting solutions. Proficiency in troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining enterprise LAN/WAN environments. Strong understanding of network architecture, security, and routing protocols.
