Description

£14 PER HOUR + 5–15% COMMISSION | NOTTINGHAM | 10 HOURS PER WEEK | 3-MONTH CONTRACT (WITH POTENTIAL FOR FULL-TIME)

We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to help us secure Christmas party bookings for our unique Nottingham venues: The Secret Garden, CookieShake, and The Secret Vault. Each venue has its own distinct product offering, and you will play a key role in promoting and selling these to corporate clients.
This is a short-term contract (approx. 3 months) focused on Christmas bookings. However, if you demonstrate success and can secure corporate business beyond the festive season, we’d be happy to consider a full-time, permanent role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the entire process independently—this role is completely left to you to run and drive forward.
  • Working with our graphic designer to create a professional brand package to send out to potential clients (we’ll cover the design costs).
  • Using social media—especially LinkedIn—to attract and engage corporate customers (we’ll cover the cost of ad campaigns).
  • Actively reaching out to businesses, confidently speaking with decision-makers over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Managing bookings, discussing hire options, and ensuring a smooth handover to our events team.

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone confident and comfortable in the corporate world—whether on calls, in meetings, or networking.
  • Strong experience in corporate event sales or similar, ideally with knowledge of what companies look for in a Christmas party booking.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn and social media marketing.
  • A self-starter with existing corporate contacts (preferred, but not essential).
  • Must have your own laptop to work from.

Pay & Benefits:

  • £14 per hour, capped at 10 paid hours per week (2 x 5-hour shifts at the venue).
  • Commission: 5–15% of booking value (based on hire fee and bar spend—the higher the spend, the higher the commission).
  • Unlimited free teas, coffees, and soft drinks while you’re working on-site.
  • Flexibility: You can work extra unpaid hours if you wish to increase your commission earnings.
  • Potential for a permanent, full-time role if you deliver results beyond the Christmas period.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a flair for sales, networking, and corporate events who wants a flexible, independent part-time role with excellent earning potential.

TO APPLY, PLEASE SEND YOUR CV AND A SHORT COVER LETTER OUTLINING YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH CORPORATE EVENTS AND LINKEDIN MARKETING.
