Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Finance team in London. You will be a key part of the Corporate Finance team, supporting non-BAU project reporting and the due diligence of acquisitions and transactions. You will support on the review of strategic change business cases focusing on the planning and delivery of business change initiatives that are happening both in Finance and across the organisation, and undertake due diligence reviews of small acquisitions with an opportunity to be part of the wider diligence team on larger transactions.

AS CORPORATE FINANCE ANALYST, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE AMONG OTHERS:

Supporting the Head of Corporate Finance and working closely with the M&A team in undertaking wide ranging non-business as usual tasks which may involve:

  • Business case assessment, costing and monitoring
  • Financial due diligence
  • Existing and new acquisition earn-out investigations and calculation
  • Current financing arrangements support and control
  • Month end support across the exceptional costs and CAPEX portfolio
  • Ad hoc analysis or support requests

Qualifications

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD:

  • Highly methodical and organised, with an ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy and a high quality output
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – able to deal with internal and external contacts, with an ability to maintain confidentiality with a high degree of discretion
  • Knowledge of finance business processes and controls, and an ability to draft high quality documentation
  • Strong financial modelling and presentational skills - able to assess and review business plans
  • Strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation, and commercial acumen.
  • Professional Accounting Qualifications - ACA/CIMA/ACCA
