ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone with a working knowledge of the sell-side transaction process who is intellectually curious to learn more. You should have:

  • Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to apply it to real-world situations.
  • Proven MS Excel and PowerPoint skills for financial analysis and preparing client documentation.
  • Superb project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to producing the highest quality outputs, often within tight timescales.
  • The ability to write high-quality, professionally presented documents.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with both colleagues and clients.
  • A background as a Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years of complementary experience is desirable

Responsibilities
  • You will support the delivery of lead advisory mandates from start to finish, including creating financial databooks, information memoranda, and DD-ready VDRs.
  • You will act as a day-to-day contact for the client, and will ensure the consistent delivery of projects / outputs against timetables and our highest quality standards.
  • You will assess the client’s business drivers, quality of earnings, and key deal issues to create a tailored approach to the sale process.
  • You will also support our business development activities, including identifying targets, engaging prospects, and creating materials for pitches and proposals.
  • You will help build and maintain Collingwood’s relationship with buyers and PE houses, as well as our overall market profile contributing to a variety of marketing initiatives and regular thought leadership.
