CORPORATE FINANCE OFFICER - REVENUE | 8777 | PERMANENT CONTRACT | 37 HOURS PER WEEK | £43,822 TO £48,227 PER ANNUM (SCALE K) | COUNTY HALL, NORWICH

We are seeking a highly motivated and professionally qualified accountant (CCAB) to join our Corporate Accounting Team as a Corporate Finance Officer (Revenue). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Council’s statutory financial reporting, including the preparation of the annual Statement of Accounts, capital accounting, and government returns. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as performing monthly reconciliations of revenues and grants, maintaining asset registers and lease accounting records, assisting with capital expenditure monitoring, liaising with external auditors, and ensuring compliance with complex accounting standards and deadlines. We are looking for someone with excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to both finance and non-finance colleagues, while working collaboratively as part of a focused team.
