We are looking for our Corporate Governance & Compliance Officer who will be a part of our Legal & Compliance team in Tietoevry Tech Services. We play a vital part in the implementation of Tietoevry Tech Services’ strategy and supporting the distinct success paths of our end-to-end businesses, through delivering high-quality services at scale and fostering an exceptional culture.
When joining Tietoevry Tech Services as Corporate Governance & Compliance:
You will join a skilled legal team, where you learn new things with your colleagues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the rest of our Legal & Privacy team, to support overall company objectives. Depending on your passion and interests, there might be an option to expand responsibilities to cover the secretary role of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Your responsibilities would include:

• taking care of various corporate governance matters globally as well as matters related to the securities market in the Nordic region
• managing Tietoevry Tech Services’ group level policies and compliance procedures, including whistleblowing channel and sanction screening
• managing AGM/EGM projects
• managing Tietoevry Tech Services subsidiary administration and related activities

We are looking for a lawyer with:

• a legal master’s degree from Finland or Sweden
• at least six years of post-graduate experience within corporate governance preferably in Finnish law and corporate compliance, either from an inhouse legal position or from a renowned law firm
• a desire to expand your skillset
• an adaptive attitude, no hesitation to work hands-on and come up with pragmatic and well-structured solutions
• good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset are essential
• fluent language skills in English, Finnish and/or Swedish language skills considered as an advantage

If you have additional experience within the M&A field, commercial law, Finnish HR law and/or working for Nordic/international companies, this will be an advantage.
