As a Corporate Governance Consultant, you will play a key supporting role within Aon Governance, helping to deliver high-quality governance, executive compensation, and shareholder engagement work for a broad range of clients. You will collaborate closely with senior team members to execute projects, prepare client deliverables, and support day-to-day engagement needs. Support the execution of client projects by coordinating inputs from internal teams and preparing client‑ready materials (presentations, board/committee decks, meeting prep) Conduct research and analysis on corporate governance, board structures, and executive compensation, including benchmarking and market‑practice summaries Assist with shareholder engagement and annual meeting preparation, including materials for proxy season and analysis of investor/proxy‑advisor policies and voting trends Collaborate with senior consultants on project scope, timelines, and deliverables, while contributing to internal templates, best practices, and onboarding of junior analysts Collect, validate, and analyze governance and compensation data, and provide analytical input to white papers, articles, and presentations, maintaining clear documentation Skills and experience that will lead to success Our colleagues are collaborators, insightful analyzers, problem solvers, excellent teammates, effective communicators, relationship builders and future leaders. We are seeking candidates with experience in corporate governance, executive compensation, investor or proxy advisory analysis, or related legal/regulatory environments, who are comfortable working in dynamic, deadline-driven settings and producing precise, analytically strong work. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, public policy, or related) preferred, plus typically 3–5 years’ relevant experience (e.g., consulting, governance, executive compensation, investor relations, proxy advisory, or legal/regulatory work) Strong familiarity with corporate governance and executive compensation concepts, with proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and deliver accurate, high‑quality outputs Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills, able to synthesize complex information into clear, structured materials and work comfortably with senior and cross‑functional colleagues High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive, collaborative working style; experience preparing board/committee materials, proxy research, or governance reporting is a plus Comfortable working with data (Excel‑based analyses, compensation/governance databases) and translating analyses into clear charts, exhibits, and decision‑ready insights; familiarity with SEC rules, stock‑exchange standards, and proxy‑advisor frameworks is preferred English level Proficiency C1 or above How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
