In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the corporate and government affairs strategy across the Eurasia region. This role serves as the primary interface between the company and external stakeholders—including government bodies, regulatory authorities, industry associations, and media—while also driving internal communications to ensure alignment and engagement across the organization. How you will contribute You will: Government Affairs & Public Policy Develop and implement government affairs strategies to protect and advance business interests in alignment with Mondelēz global and regional priorities Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and policymakers at national and local levels Monitor, analyze, and communicate legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the business Represent the company in industry associations, trade bodies, and public-private dialogue platforms Lead advocacy efforts on key policy areas including food regulation, trade, taxation, sustainability, and labeling External Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Develop and execute external communication strategies to enhance corporate reputation and brand trust Manage media relations, including press releases, media briefings, and crisis communications Build strategic partnerships with NGOs, academic institutions, and community organizations Oversee corporate social responsibility (CSR) communications and sustainability reporting Manage issues and crisis communication protocols to protect company reputation Internal Communications Design and implement internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement, alignment, and a sense of purpose Partner with HR, Leadership, and cross-functional teams to cascade key messages, business updates, and cultural initiatives Manage internal communication channels and platforms to ensure consistent and timely messaging Support change management communications during organizational transformations Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Legal, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure cohesive policy positions Collaborate with global and regional CGA teams to align on priorities and share best practices Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on reputational risks and opportunities What you will bring A desire to lead the future for our company and accelerate you career with experience and knowledge in: University degree in Political Science, International Relations or related field) 8–10 years of progressive experience in government affairs, public policy, corporate communications, or public relations Proven track record of engaging with government stakeholders and navigating regulatory environments Strong experience in both internal and external communications Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Russian Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects simultaneously Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate policy developments into business implications More about this role What extra ingredients you will bring: Strategic Influence – Ability to shape policy outcomes and build coalitions Stakeholder Management – Skilled at building trust across diverse audiences Communication Excellence – Clear, compelling, and audience-tailored messaging Business Acumen – Understanding of commercial drivers and market dynamics Agility & Resilience – Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-changing environments Leadership – Inspires teams and drives cross-functional collaboration Job specific requirements: Experience in FMCG, food & beverage, or multinational corporate environments Established network within local government institutions, trade associations, and media Experience with crisis management and issues resolution Knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks and international trade policy Proficiency in an additional language (e.g., German, French, etc.) is a plus The role is temporary till September 2027.
