Do you want to learn how to use consumer insights to understand the entertainment landscape? The Corporate Brand Insights team is looking for an intern to join the team who is excited and ready to learn. This internship is a full-time commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June to August 2026. The Brand Insights team is a highly visible group that is charged with finding the best methods to evaluate the performance of The Walt Disney Company’s portfolio of brands and to deeply understand the entertainment consumer’s sentiment, needs, and behaviors across the world. The team plays a pivotal role in shaping key business decisions and strategic directions for The Walt Disney Company. We partner with teams across all aspects of Disney’s business portfolio to conduct custom quantitative and qualitative research and deliver key analysis and insights that help to drive brand strategies and priorities. What You Will Do: Support Analysts and Managers in executing consumer research studies, from conception through analysis and presentation of the learnings and implications Conduct in-depth competitive and market analysis to answer key business questions and gain insight into brand opportunities and challenges Compile and create reports on brand and competitive data in support of brand strategy, planning, and management Assist in managing and leveraging tracking study data to answer ad hoc questions Example Projects: Create reports that highlight brand awareness, affinity, and perceptions across demos and markets Assist in summarizing focus group findings to understand key business questions for brands like Pixar and National Geographic Required Qualifications & Skills: A curious and strategic thinker with a passion for entertainment brands Interest in understanding consumer behaviors and industry trends Analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel Experience crafting story-driven presentations in PowerPoint Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Ability to manage several projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications & Skills Experience developing and/or using market research Experience with SPSS, Q Research Software, or Tableau Previous internship within a strategic and/or analytical role at a blue-chip company, strategy/management consulting firm, advertising agency, or financial institution Education Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, Statistics or related degree Preferred Junior or Senior Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program Be at least 18 years of age Possess unrestricted work authorization Additional Recruitment Information: Candidate must be available to work full-time hours Monday-Friday (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship from June to August 2026 Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Burbank, CA area The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
