KPMG Open Platform is our new innovation hub based in Naples, created with a view to developing high-tech service models and solutions for private companies and public administration. The consultancy areas include third party risk management, cyber security, program management on large transformation projects in the public sector, application maintenance and managed services.
Among these, the Corporate Intelligence team is an expanding part of KPMG. The team helps clients address integrity and regulatory risks stemming from third-party relationships in a variety of contexts, from compliance and KYC to mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The team, which works globally through the KPMG member firm network, is made up of specialists with a range of regional and language expertise.

We are seeking research analysts to join the team in our Naples office. As part of our team, you will be tasked with:

  • Integrity due diligence and reputational research of third parties, focused on identifying reputational and regulatory risks, their organisational structure and providing analytical and succinct summaries of their relevance to our clients;
  • Asset tracing and source of wealth research aimed at identifying assets and/or verifying the career trajectory/lifestyle of high net worth individuals in the context of asset recovery or AML reviews.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The research, retrieval and analysis of public record information are the starting point for the majority of corporate intelligence assignments. The main responsibilities for Research Analysts will include:

  • Conducting desktop-based research using a variety of specialist database resources, covering a wide range of corporate, media, credit and regulatory data across many jurisdictions;
  • Conducting iterative research using a variety of other online and offline public record sources, especially commercial registries and corporate databases in a variety of countries and languages;
  • Combining the above skills to deliver time-critical and relevant reports to clients.
