Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Corporate Legal Team for a dedicated, enthusiastic and competent lawyer. The primary function of the post will be to provide high level and proactive advice and assistance in Employment, Education and Information Law. You will have a wide and varied caseload and work predominately on employment matters working with an experienced team.
We are looking for a lawyer (solicitor, barrister or FILEX) with a minimum of two years post qualification experience in the legal profession or exceptional experience of shorter duration.
You will work within a friendly and hardworking team. The post has a number of basic, key duties but also involves responding to a rapidly changing environment. You must be adaptable, flexible and able to prioritise tasks on a daily basis.
Note: The grading of the job is within scope of a pay and grading review taking place across Legal Services and is subject to confirmation.
