Description
GEK TERNA S.A. is looking for a Corporate Lawyer with experience in Civil, Commercial, Corporate and Finance Law. Responsibilities: Provide in-house legal counsel on complex legal matters affecting the company’s operations and projects. Advise on legal issues related to motorway operations and oversee the implementation and ongoing compliance with Concession Agreements, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including financing agreements, loan contracts, procurement documents, and service-level agreements and any amendments thereof. Ensure adherence to applicable national and European Union legislation, with a focus on commercial, environmental, civil and public procurement law. Provide legal support in dispute resolution processes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Coordinate with external legal counsel and liaise with regulatory and supervisory authorities. Support corporate governance and compliance initiatives, monitor legislative and regulatory developments and advise on necessary adaptations Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in law and an LL.M with a specialization in commercial or civil or public procurements law areas; At least 10 years' working experience as an in-house lawyer or in a law firm. Specialization and previous experience in projects related to concession agreements would be desirable. Experience in dealing with complex legal & regulatory compliance issues with significant financial impact; Fluency in English Competencies: Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting demands; Organizational and interpersonal skills and attention to detail Resilience, Commitment Continuous learning and development mindset Positive attitude and team-work spirit
