Summary: The Corporate Management General Manager (GM) is a key leadership position with departmental responsibility for Finance & Accounting, Information Technology (IT), and Production Cost Management sections to support our automatic transmission manufacturing plant in Cibolo, Texas. They will provide leadership and strategic support to manufacturing operations producing complex automotive components, while building strong partnerships with management and department leaders to drive a safe, high-quality, and efficient production environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for corporate management sections, including Finance & Accounting, Information Technology (IT), and Production Cost Management, in support of manufacturing operations. * Partner closely with plant leadership and department heads to ensure alignment between corporate functions and operational goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost. * Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to support effective decision-making and long-term business objectives. * Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, cost tracking, and variance analysis in accordance with corporate policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations. * Oversee production cost management activities, including standard cost development, cost reduction initiatives, and productivity improvement tracking. * Provide leadership and governance for IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions that support manufacturing, supply chain, and business operations. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data, financial insights, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency and cost competitiveness. * Support plant leadership in evaluating and executing strategic initiatives, including new product launches, capacity expansions, automation, and process improvements. * Develop and mentor department leaders and team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance. * Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and applicable legal and regulatory standards. * Act as a key liaison between plant operations and corporate leadership, effectively communicating performance, risks, and improvement opportunities. * Promote a culture of safety, ethics, and respect, ensuring that all corporate management functions actively support a safe and inclusive work environment. * Foster a positive work environment centered on compliance and continuous improvement. * Lead and report departmental targets, goals to include budgeting, labor, fixed assets, schedules, data, tours, and future planning. * Works closely with Human Resources by providing key information that helps create and maintain a work environment that attracts, motivates and retains quality team members. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing operations, including production systems, preventative maintenance, standard work, and 4S+D conditions. * Ability to establish, monitor, and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned to Manufacturing Hoshin objectives, adjusting activities as needed to achieve results. * Demonstrated financial acumen, including managing labor, expense, and fixed-asset budgets and analyzing complex financial and operational data to support sound decision-making. * Proven strategic leadership capability, balancing short-term operational demands with long-term corporate objectives across multiple functions. * Ability to lead in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment, effectively managing competing priorities, time constraints, and operational complexity. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-management skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively implement mitigation strategies. * Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of influencing, presenting to large groups, and building alignment at all organizational levels. * Experience leading through change, including automation initiatives, system upgrades, and organizational transformation. * Ability to ensure compliance with corporate policies, audits, and regulatory requirements while maintaining operational discipline. * Ability to build trust and credibility with plant leadership, corporate executives, and team members. * Commitment to fostering a safe, ethical, and inclusive work environment. * Willingness and ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Qualifications, Education and Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required or equivalent work experience required. If equivalent work experience, must have High School Diploma or GED. * Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, PMP, or Six Sigma are a plus. * Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with direct responsibility for finance, cost management, and/or IT functions. * Minimum of 5 years in a senior management or general management role supporting complex manufacturing operations, preferably in the automotive industry. * Experience supporting or leading operations involving high-volume, high-precision manufacturing and complex supply chains. * Proven track record of managing plant-level and corporate budgets, capital expenditures, and long-range financial planning. * Hands-on experience driving cost reduction, productivity improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives. * Experience supporting new product launches, capacity expansions, automation projects, or major process improvements. * Demonstrated success partnering with Human Resources to support workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives. * Experience acting as a key liaison between plant operations and corporate leadership, presenting performance metrics, risks, and improvement opportunities. * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
