Requirements Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Assist Legal Department by coordinating review and execution of all contracts and agreements for all aspects of the company, including: sales, lender and supply agreements, service agreements, development agreements, license agreements, and nondisclosure agreements. Assist with preparing and reviewing contracts and legal documents with attorney supervision. Assist with corporate documentation. Assist with implementation of legal compliance plan across business platforms, including corporate governance and corporate programs/responsibility. Update and maintain legal department’s electronic and paper document management systems. Developing and maintaining department resources and procedures, and identifying or implementing improvements to streamline or improve new or existing practices. Assist with legal research and compliance as needed. Participate in special projects and other assignments as requested. Maintain or obtain Notary Public. Provide daily assistance to Legal Department, including: administrative assistance to Executive Leadership Team (as-needed), processing invoices and managing relationship with vendors related to billing/invoices. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or a related field. Preferred Experience: Minimum 3 years paralegal, or experience at a law firm or in-house setting. Paralegal certificate. SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE: Proven ability to work effectively in independent settings Superior listening, verbal and written communication skills. Identify and resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner. Strict discretion and confidentiality. Organizational skills with ability to be proactive and prioritize work. Works comfortably in Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams. Ability to maintain and manage large amounts of data in a spreadsheet format.
