Location – Altrincham | Full-time (9:00am-5:30pm)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

· Preferably, at least 2 years’ Paralegal experience working in a corporate or company/commercial team

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role will involve assisting our Corporate department in the day to day running of the team, and you will be reporting to Rachel Owen, our Corporate Partner. Your support and assistance to the team will help contribute to the overall success of the team and of the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Preparation of documents such as Board Minutes, Written Resolutions for a variety of transactions (including sale and purchases – both shares and assets, restructures, shares/shareholder arrangements)
· Preparation of all ancillary documents on Corporate transactions
· Dealing with and incorporating companies
· Company searches
· Companies House filings
· Managing online data sites
· Review of due diligence documents and noting key provisions in contracts for a buyer/seller
· Preparing Due Diligence Reports
· Ability to confidently liaise with clients to deal with and assist our Partner in the everyday responsibilities of the team
· Assisting with billing, debt chasing and file hygiene, including compliance
· Opening and closing files
· Writing/editing blogs
