Description About The Role We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Corporate Parts Director to lead our enterprise-wide parts operations. This senior executive role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing, inventory management, and distribution initiatives that drive operational efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction across all business units. The ideal candidate is a decisive leader with deep industry knowledge, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven track record of optimizing complex parts supply chains at scale. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute the corporate parts strategy aligned with overall business objectives, including long-range planning for inventory, procurement, and distribution. • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of parts managers, analysts, and coordinators across multiple locations. • Drive supplier relationship management — negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and identify strategic partnerships to optimize cost and quality. • Establish and monitor KPIs for fill rates, inventory turns, order accuracy, and cost-per-unit, continuously driving improvement. • Oversee ERP/DMS systems integration for parts operations, ensuring data integrity and process automation. • Collaborate cross-functionally with service, sales, finance, and logistics teams to align parts availability with demand forecasting. • Develop standardized operating procedures and training programs to ensure consistent execution across all locations. • Manage departmental budgets and P&L accountability, presenting regular performance reports to senior leadership. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, warranty obligations, and manufacturer guidelines. • Lead initiatives to reduce obsolete inventory while maintaining optimal stock levels to support operations. Requirements Qualifications and Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred. • 10+ years of progressive experience in parts operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. • Demonstrated expertise in parts procurement, inventory control, and supply chain optimization. • Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and P&L responsibility. • Proficiency with ERP platforms and CDK. • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Proven ability to lead organizational change and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Experience in the automotive, heavy equipment, or manufacturing industry strongly preferred. • Willingness to travel up to 80% as required.
