Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Corporate Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll operations across Sustainable Restaurant Group. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for all restaurant brands and corporate (HQ) employees. The Corporate Payroll Manager will play a key role in supporting our people by ensuring a seamless payroll experience while partnering closely with HR, Finance, and Operations teams. Key Responsibilities Own and manage full-cycle payroll processing for all SRG entities, including hourly and salaried employees, across multiple pay cycles, restaurant brands and corporate teams Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in compliance with federal, state, and local laws Maintain and audit payroll records, including wages, tips, bonuses, deductions, and benefits Partner with HR and Finance to ensure accuracy of employee data, onboarding/ offboarding changes, and compensation updates Oversee multi-state payroll compliance, including tax filings, wage and hour laws, and reporting requirements Manage the payroll system (Paylocity), manage integrations with labor collection and tip reporting systems, and identify opportunities for optimization Communicate timely with SRG leadership for payroll-related calendar items Lead payroll audits and support internal/external audits and data requests as needed Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and best practices Stay up to date on payroll regulations and proactively ensure company compliance in all states where SRG operates Reconcile payroll-related accounts and collaborate with accounting on month-end close Assist with reporting and analytics related to labor costs, overtime, and workforce trends Qualifications 10+ years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role Experience managing payroll for multi-unit, multi-state organizations (hospitality or restaurant experience strongly preferred) Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and compliance requirements Experience with payroll systems such as Paylocity, Paycom, Workday, or similar High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Proficiency in Excel and payroll reporting tools Preferred Qualifications Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry Experience managing tip credit, pooled tips, and service charges
