Job Description The Corporate QES Manager (Middle East BU) is a senior functional leader responsible for raising the bar on project quality, environmental performance, and sustainability compliance. This role demands a high-energy individual who is regularly present on-site, actively engaging with site teams, supervisors, and QA/QC staff. Dealing with people is a significant element in the role. The QES Manager sets expectations, clarifies roles and deliverables, challenges underperformance, and coaches’ individuals and teams to drive quality improvements. This includes leading internal and third-party audits and supporting the development and deployment of Company Management Systems in projects across the region. Be active involved in project startups and monitor at later stage. Beyond technical compliance, this role plays a strategic part in fostering a culture of accountability, discipline, and pride in quality outcomes, ensuring site teams are not only compliant but capable and committed. A strong presence in the field, combined with clear communication and people leadership, is essential to the success of this role. Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following: Project Lifecycle Engagement Participate in “Start Right” project setups to define QES expectations. Conduct structured site visits (minimum 2 days per week) focused on compliance with PQP, environmental and sustainability procedures, and team coaching as well as site visit to inspect quality. Ensure QES personnel are clearly assigned, onboarded, and aligned with project demands. Audit & System Compliance Lead and coordinate internal IMS audits and third-party ISO audits. Ensure audit readiness for SIXCO, MIC HQ, and ADOSH inspections. Provide documentation and follow-up support for end-of-project audits and reports. Ensure we use the PMP on the projects Lead the archiving of the projects Quality Improvement & Reporting Support the implementation of the ME BU Quality Improvement Plan. Lead root cause analysis workshops and follow-up on recurring NCRs. Monitor project quality KPIs and ensure monthly reporting to BU leadership. Capability Building & Role Clarity Assess competencies of site QA/QC staff and implement personalized coaching plans. Ensure QA/QC role descriptions and responsibility matrices are established and communicated. Deliver quarterly lessons learned and best practice sessions via the OASIS platform. Corporate & Group Participation Represent the ME BU in Group QHSE Management meetings and Data Governance Committee. Contribute to development and refinement of company procedures and PMP library. Support corporate initiatives on sustainability and green building standards. Middle East experience is important. Bachelor in Civil engineering, Construction management ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor – essential for overseeing Quality Management Systems.
