RECEPTIONIST – GLOBAL FINANCIAL SERVICES FIRM

Location: A Private Reception only for staff, visitors and guests based on Bishopsgate
Full-time | Permanent - 5 days sharing shifts of 8am - 4pm / 9am - 5pm
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Type: Inhouse role full time employee of the firm - not managed services.

AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY HAS ARISEN FOR AN EXPERIENCED RECEPTIONIST TO JOIN A GLOBALLY RECOGNISED FINANCIAL SERVICES INSTITUTION BASED IN THE HEART OF LONDON. OUR FLOOR SEATS 100 FULL TIME EMPLOYEES.

This role is ideal for a polished, proactive individual who thrives in a front-of-house setting and enjoys playing a pivotal part in the smooth running of a busy office. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and internal teams – providing a professional and welcoming experience while ensuring the day-to-day coordination of office facilities and services.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as the professional face of the business: welcoming guests, managing incoming calls, and maintaining a high standard of front-of-house presentation.
  • Overseeing meeting room bookings, setup and readiness, including comfort checks and post-meeting resets
  • Liaising with internal teams to support in-house corporate events, training sessions, and client roadshows
  • Coordinating deliveries and managing incoming/outgoing post, couriers, and permit logistics
  • Assisting with procurement and inventory management of office supplies and consumables
  • Providing hands-on administrative and facilities support across the business
  • Taking on varied ad hoc responsibilities to support overall office efficiency
