As a Corporate Accounting and Reporting Specialist, you are part of the Corporate Finance Control team of Nutreco and report directly to the Head of Finance Control. You will be responsible for ensuring adequate accounting and reporting of consolidated financial information and provide insight into the financial position of Nutreco and its business units for our middle and upper management, our shareholder, SHV, and other stakeholders.
On a daily basis you are in contact with local controllers, business units and corporate functions around the world to assist and guide them on complex technical accounting-related and financial reporting questions and projects.

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

Qualifications:

  • Completed Master’s degree with an CPA/RA (or equivalent) qualification;
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience (Financial Audit or Reporting);
  • Knowledge of and experience with IFRS;
  • Skills to work with both people and numbers;
  • Fluent communication skills in English, both in speaking and writing;
  • Proven track record in project management.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Periodic consolidation of the group’s financials in OneStream;
  • Providing insights into the company’s performance with periodic and ad-hoc management reporting;
  • Analysis of periodic figures in the consolidation system (OneStream and SAP) and local system (Infor-M3);
  • Manage and deliver annual statutory reports (based on IFRS) and involvement in the hard-close and year-end audit processes;
  • Periodic and year-end reporting of the group’s results and financial position to our shareholder, SHV;
  • Analysing new developments in relevant reporting laws and regulations (i.e., IFRS 18, XBRL-reporting). Offering internal advice on the impact of new regulations and ensuring this is applied in the financial administration and financial statements;
  • Advising group companies on performing key financial controls to ensure an appropriate control environment and proper financial reporting;
  • Contributing to the implementation of the new CSRD directive.
