Starting as a small family owned and operated business in Edmonton Alberta in 1982 to offering full service janitorial and building maintenance across Canada today. We attribute our success to staying true to our core values of Service, Motivate, Respect, and Connect. As we continue to grow we are looking to add a Corporate Sales Manager to the Scandi Family!
Location: Edmonton

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This role requires approximately 20% travel within local region (daily travel within local city/area) and up to 40% travel within Western Canada.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must maintain a driver’s license that meet’s Scandinavian’s requirements; must have a good driving record with no major offenses
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in business-to-business sales as a primary function
  • Completion of a degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Previous experience creating and implementing sales plans with external stakeholders

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and potential client contacts, understanding business challenges and aligning solutions effectively
  • Prospect, qualify and close new business, performing sales activities on targeted businesses
  • Learn industry trends and build on customer needs
  • Lead negotiations of new client contracts, working with internal stakeholders on pricing as required
  • Maintain awareness of the end date of existing service contracts, allowing for new ones to be negotiated
  • Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate consistent branding and messaging to potential clients
