Description About Vala’s Located in Gretna, Nebraska, Vala’s is a family owned and operated fall festival open to the public 45 to 55 days a year and is a treasured fall tradition for many families in the surrounding communities. Vala’s property spans 400+ acres, including over 50 attractions, such as pick-your-own pumpkins, apples, and flowers, and over 25 food locations. The Corporate Sales Specialist is a professional position responsible for handling all corporate sales groups from processing their contracts to being a go-to person while corporate groups are on the farm. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Revenue, the Corporate Sales Specialist will take an active role in processing and managing all corporate sales groups. This is a part time, hourly position, with hours needed starting February through July. Requirements Responsibilities: Follow up on corporate sales pitches and leads generated by the Director of Sales & Revenue Convert corporate inquiries into confirmed group bookings, including upselling add-ons such as food, beverages and private spaces Manage, prepare, and ensure accuracy on all corporate contracts Coordinate billing details, deposits and final deposits are paid in partnership with accounting to meet all deadlines Ensure tickets are available and ready for all corporate groups Collaborate with Admissions, Operations, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure a smooth on-farm experience for our guests Track corporate group attendance and revenue to create rebooking opportunities Handle guest concerns in a professional manner and escalate issues, as needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong verbal and written communication. Maintain high attention to detail Ability to maintain professional demeanor and provide customer service at all times Ability to use various forms of technology (laptop, tablet, cellphone). Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions in fast-paced, guest-facing situations.
