Position Summary The Senior Accountant is a key contributor within the Corporate Accounting team and plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of AssistRx’s financial reporting. This is not a purely transactional role. We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional who takes ownership of the close process, proactively identifies risk, improves processes, and partners cross-functionally to support a growing SaaS-based healthcare organization. You will have meaningful exposure to leadership, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders while helping strengthen financial operations in a dynamic, regulated industry. Key ResponsibilitiesMonth-End Close & Financial Reporting Lead preparation and review of complex journal entries and reconciliations Own assigned general ledger accounts (accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, revenue, payroll, etc.) Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close Support preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements Perform flux analysis and explain month-over-month variances Technical Accounting & Compliance Research and document accounting positions under US GAAP Assist with implementation of new accounting standards Support revenue recognition analysis (ASC 606 exposure preferred) Partner with external auditors during annual audits and interim reviews Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Operational & Corporate Accounting Oversee fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules Review AP, AR, and payroll entries to ensure accuracy and proper classification Support cash management and balance sheet integrity Assist with financial reporting packages for leadership and/or investors Internal Controls & Process Improvement Strengthen and document internal controls over financial reporting Identify automation opportunities within ERP and reporting systems Improve reconciliation workflows and close timelines Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting policies Cross-Functional Partnership Collaborate with FP&A, Operations, HR, and Revenue teams Provide accounting insight to support operational decisions Support ad hoc reporting and special projects as assigned Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience (corporate or public accounting) Strong working knowledge of US GAAP Experience participating in month-end close in a multi-entity or growth environment Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) Preferred: CPA (active or in progress) Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm a plus) Experience in SaaS, healthcare, or technology environments ERP experience (NetSuite, Intacct, Oracle, or similar) Exposure to ASC 606 revenue recognition What Success Looks Like in This Role Month-end close deadlines consistently met Clean audit results with minimal adjustments Improved reconciliation processes Clear, concise financial analysis for leadership Strong cross-functional credibility Supportive, progressive, fast-paced environment Competitive pay structure Matching 401(k) with immediate vesting Medical, dental, vision, life, & short-term disability insurance AssistRx, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
