Description:
Job Title: Corporate Services Manager (Administration Manager)
Location: Primarily onsite at our Brisbane office with travel to Gold Coast and other locations as required. Limited opportunity to work-from-home occasionally.
About Us: Share EV is revolutionising eco-friendly transport in Australia through innovative electric vehicle rentals. We’re seeking passionate individuals to join our rapidly growing startup and drive sustainable transportation forward.
The timing: Planned commencement in April 2025 at the earliest, as part of our evolving organisational structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative, strategic planning, and operational support to the CEO and Board on matters such as staff management, financial planning, facility management, and information services.
- Develop and manage Share EV’s administrative, financial, physical, and staff resources.
- Develop and implement administrative, financial, and operational procedural statements and guidelines for staff use.
- Analyse complex resource management issues and initiatives affecting the organisation, preparing associated reports, correspondence, and submissions.
- Provide information and support for financial reports and budget preparation.
- Lead, manage, and develop administrative and general staff to ensure smooth business operations and timely, accurate information provision.
- Represent the organisation in negotiations, conventions, seminars, and public forums, promoting programs and policies across various media platforms.
- Manage daily fleet operations, ensuring vehicle readiness, maintenance, and logistics.
- Oversee 24/7 sales and customer support operations, including after-hours incident management.
- Ensure positive cash flow through accounts receivable/payable management and debt collection.
- Create an effortless and enjoyable EV rental experience for customers.
- Lead with a tech-driven approach to streamline processes and enhance service quality.
- Oversee rental reservations, maintain excellent communication, and resolve issues professionally.
- Provide guidance and training to rental associates.
- Monitor KPIs and optimise operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Collaborate with the team to drive innovation and growth.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or related field (essential)
- Master’s degree (highly regarded)
- Entrepreneurship and / or innovation training (minimum reputable short course completion required)
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience as an administration manager or similar role, preferably in a successful startup / scaleup
- 3+ years of experience with Electric Vehicles, including detailed operational understanding of Tesla, BYD, and other EV models
- Strong leadership skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Tech-savvy with experience in administration, finance management (Xero), and rental management software
- Passion for sustainability
