Role Main Purpose: The CSR Manager will lead the development and execution of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, aligning with Vision 2030, national priorities, and SPL’s mission to positively impact Saudi society through football. This role is responsible for integrating purpose-driven initiatives across the League and Clubs, fostering community engagement, enhancing reputation, and driving measurable social impact. Operational Responsibilities: Strategic Development & Leadership Design, implement, and oversee the SPL-wide CSR strategy, embedding sustainability and community impact at the core of the League's activities. Align CSR programs with national initiatives (e.g. التشجير, جمعية إنسان, جمعية زهرة), United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Vision 2030. Champion SPL’s social responsibility internally and externally, ensuring consistent messaging, visibility, and impact. Program Management Lead planning and execution of key CSR campaigns, including those related to youth, health, disability inclusion, environmental sustainability, and national celebrations. Manage partnerships with charitable organizations, government agencies, and NGOs. Ensure efficient governance, monitoring, and evaluation systems for all CSR activities. Develop League-wide toolkits and guidelines for Clubs to activate CSR programs locally and consistently. Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary liaison with key stakeholders including the Ministry of Sports, national NGOs, sponsors, and the wider SPL ecosystem. Secure buy-in from internal departments (Marketing, Commercial, PR, Operations) to embed CSR in campaigns, activations, and matchdays. Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and funding that enhance SPL’s CSR profile. Reporting & Communications Develop periodic CSR reports highlighting achievements, impact metrics, case studies, and alignment with national goals. Coordinate with the Corporate Communications team to ensure proper storytelling across platforms. Represent SPL at relevant CSR events, forums, and panels locally and internationally. Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities: Develop and oversee the CSR strategy for the SPL, focusing on sustainability and community engagement. Ensure CSR initiatives align with national priorities, including Vision 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Promote SPL’s commitment to social responsibility, enhancing visibility and impact both internally and externally. Key Performance Indicators: Successfully implement the CSR strategy aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. Increase community participation in local CSR programs. Receive positive feedback from stakeholders, including government and NGOs. Establish strategic partnerships within Saudi Arabia. Produce quality CSR reports that highlight contributions to national goals. Achieve positive media coverage in local and regional outlets. Knowledge & Skills: Deep understanding of the Saudi nonprofit and CSR ecosystem. Proven track record of delivering measurable social impact programs. Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking capabilities. Arabic and English fluency (spoken and written) required.
