When you join Stream, you won’t simply start a new job—you will build a meaningful and impactful career.Job DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEW:The Corporate Staff Accountant II reports to a Corporate Accounting Manager and assists with tasks throughout the month with a focus on maintaining accurate cash balances and completing entries for month-end close for the parent company.RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and record journal entries including recurring monthly entries, cash transactions, reclasses, and other entries as directed by the supervisor.Maintain daily cash reconciliations and prepare month-end bank reconciliations.Prepare ACH and wire transfers for A/P payments and payroll funding.Prepare and post customer and intercompany billings.Review, approve, and record cash receipts.Reconcile marketing event costs and prepare associated intercompany entries.Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.Assist Corporate VP with research and resolution of questions.Complete other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is required2+ years of experience in corporate or public accounting requiredGAAP knowledge and some experience requiredThe ability to work with a large volume of data is preferredCommercial Real Estate or other service industry experience is preferredProficient to advanced knowledge of Excel is requiredERP accounting software experience is required; Yardi is a plusAbility to exhibit a high level of confidentialityHigh attention to detail Desire to work in a cooperative, productive, team-driven environment and willingness to share information with co-workers as appropriateAdditional Information#LI-HybridStream is an equal-opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, military status, or any other reason prohibited by law.
