Description
Overview We are a general incorporated association established at the end of 2024 with the mission of realizing the social implementation of AI robots through the development of foundation models. Our goal is to receive an investment of 20.5 billion yen from NEDO by 2029, complete the development of our foundation model, and expand it globally. Background of Recruitment To drive this large-scale project, our management strategy team will play a vital role. This includes developing strategies for global expansion with 2029 as the initial milestone, negotiating with NEDO, coordinating with member companies and leading global corporations, and engaging with academia such as university professors. Ultimately, we plan to form a team of around seven members who will take the lead in steering the operations of our association, and we are urgently seeking core members for this team. Main Missions Formulate and execute short- and mid-term growth strategies from 2025 onward (including proposals for national projects and implementation of plans). Develop and implement 3–5 year national project plans (planning and building structures for robot data collection and foundation model development, and creating strategic documents). Refine business models to ensure the sustainable operation and growth of the association. Plan and execute global strategies for publishing robot operation data and foundation models. Design and implement communication plans for overseas expansion, collaboration with foreign companies, and strengthening global presence. Sub-Missions From April 2025 onward, manage administrative operations (PMO) necessary for developing robot operation data and foundation models, and coordinate with the development team. Handle detailed project management tasks, including necessary legal and labor-related procedures in collaboration with lawyers and labor consultants. Oversee general administrative operations of the association. Career Opportunities Globally, there are few projects that collect data on such a large scale and develop foundation models, and as mentioned above, significant funding has been provided by NEDO. This is one of Japan’s leading national projects. This role offers a rare opportunity to engage directly, from the inside, at the core of a large-scale national project. It will allow you to gain unique experience that cannot be replicated elsewhere. In addition, there will be many opportunities to collaborate with supporting member companies and startups, providing an environment where you can explore diverse career opportunities both inside and outside the association.
