SUMMARY

We are looking for a Corporate Travel Sales Manager to spearhead the sales of the travel booking software solution for large corporate and government clients at NDC Solutions, a software development company we are assisting. Your focus will be on client relationship management and acquisition, potential market identification and analysis, partner identification and relationship management, service offering definition and refinement, and cooperation with the technology development team to accommodate future commercial growth plans.

Namely, the key objectives of the role will be:

  • Leading the revenue-generating activities at NDC Solutions
  • Facilitating the adoption of NDC’s offerings among its target customer base, large corporate and government entities
  • Maintaining existing relationships, and building new relationships with clients, airlines, and other stakeholders in Canada, US, and any other international markets
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with partner companies (Verto, Sabre, Travel Leaders Network, Accelya, ATPCO) and identifying additional partners for future collaborations
  • Establishing the administrative capacity to support commercial activities, prioritizing client needs

REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE

Candidates seeking to apply for the Corporate Travel Sales Manager position must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, administration, or a related field
  • Three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience in corporate travel business development/sales
  • Experience with corporate travel software, including, but not limited to, Melon (Corporate Travel platform), SAP Concur, Deem, Zeno, and Amex GBT
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Excellent interpersonal/relationship management skills

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Negotiating with clients, customers and partner companies to continuously improve the profitability of NDC
  • Coordinating sales efforts with the executive management by providing regular progress reports on all current sales initiatives
  • Conduct periodic market research and identify prospective business opportunities within North America and internationally
  • Report and record budgets, expenses, and revenue attributable to all outstanding commercial activities
  • Liaising between various teams within NDC, including, but not limited to the development team
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks and designing and implementing strategies to remediate them
