- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm - Lead end-to-end processes and/or programs that require complex decision making, advanced understanding of client and stakeholder needs and subject matter expertise - Understand and adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; own risk and contingency plans for business area - Act as a role model and culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and team accountable to Firm standards - Manage the design and day-to-day implementation of a diverse and stable debt and deposit offering, related hedging strategies and funding pricing for the Firm's US Banks - Manage funding planning across the US Banks' unsecured funding and deposit channels - Lead the team defining and executing the US Banks' funding strategy to support funding, liquidity and balance sheet objectives - Oversee the assessment and implementation of new funding products, vendors and counterparties by collaborating with Wealth Management, ISG, Controllers, Risk, Legal, Tech and others - Manage and execute ad hoc requests/inquiries from senior management and aid in decision making process - Provide a vision and direction to the tech development team and stakeholders to deliver software solutions used to manage unsecured funding - Partner closely with the Global TCM teams and business units on deposit and other funding initiatives - Oversee the team's risks and controls and associated documentation (e.g., policies & procedures) - Create and deliver effective presentations for senior management forums and to regulators - Manage, attract, develop and retain talent for team within Finance while creating an inclusive environment; translate Firmwide goals into actionable goals for department/function - Advanced understanding of Treasury, industry, and competitive environment and technical skills, including risks and key regulations relevant to the division - Ability to inspire and support others by providing positive and constructive feedback and to acknowledge efforts of and promote team members - Ability to manage risk and impact to functional area, and create plans to mitigate those risks - Experience of managing a team of resources - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with teams across both local offices and globally - Proficient analytical capabilities, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity - The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy level environment - At least 12 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role Our values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - aren't just beliefs, they guide the decisions we make every day to do what's best for our clients, communities and more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $175,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
