Description of Work This position is located at Greene Correctional Institution in Maury, NC. Greene CI has a minimum custody population of656 adult male offenders. This position will assist in the management and operational functions of a prison institution or facility which provides a large variety of programs and services to the offender population. Employee will be responsible for the supervision of the Programs functions of the facility but may assist the Correctional Warden in other areas at Greene CI as needed. In the absence of the Warden and Associate Warden of Custody, this position is responsible for the operations of the facility. Position will report directly to the Warden of the facility. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits. Note to Current State Employees: The salary grade for this position is NC13. If selected for this position, a new salary will be recalculated taking into consideration the quantity of relevant education and experience, funding availability, and internal equity. Based upon these factors, a pay increase MAY result. Bachelor’s degree in a human services or criminal justice field and three years of experience in correctional programs management or related work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
