JOB SUMMARY
This is an exciting and rewarding career opportunity for Correctional Case Officers. As the first hires for the state-of-the-art Clarence Correctional Centre in Grafton, you’ll get the opportunity to use your skills and experience assisting with the pre-operational activities as we expand our workforce ready for commencing operations in July 2020.
A rewarding career opportunity awaits you as a Correctional Case Officer with Serco. You will join Australia’s most innovative and largest correctional centre and have the opportunity to play a key position within the Serco team.
The Clarence Correctional Centre is due to open in mid-2020, with a 1700 bed facility, making it the largest and most state-of-the-art correctional centre in Australia. Serco Australia has a 20 year contract to operate and maintain the centre, creating the opportunity for long-term, rewarding and secure employment with exciting career prospects in one of Australia’s most spectacular coastal and country locations.

Responsibilities:
- Have similar experience within a correctional environment or looking for a new career
- Either hold your Certificate III Correctional Practice (CSC30115) or
- Eligible to obtain a Cert III Correctional Practice (CSC30115)
- Demonstrate a commitment to Serco’s values and the rehabilitation process
- Demonstrate a competent level of computer literacy and report writing
- Proficient interpersonal and communications skills
- Maintains high level of integrity and ethical behaviour
