Documented knowledge of Prison Policies and Procedures and/or Facility Operations Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. Salary Range: $35,984.00 - $62,971.00 This posting is for multiple vacancies: positions 60066602, 65013890. Reporting to a Correctional Housing Unit Manager II at a multi-custody female correctional facility, this position is responsible for assisting the Correctional Housing Unit Manager II in the management and operation of an institutional housing unit. Job responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following: Implementing and monitoring the unit case management system which entails providing individual counseling, participating in group sessions, and maintaining reports relating to the offenders' progress. Supervising staff and in the absence of the Correctional Unit Manager II, assuming responsibility for the overall management of the unit. Serving on institutional classification committees Work Schedule This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with https://oshr.nc.gov/state-employee-resources/benefits. The selected candidate may be selected to work any shift and will work weekends and holidays to ensure 24/7 staff coverage.
