Become a Corrections Officer and make a difference in individuals’ lives and in our community. ** No experience necessary and onsite paid training is provided. ** Job Summary: Primary responsibility is care, custody, and control of inmates within the Adams County Corrections system. The mission of the Adams County Adult Correctional Complex (ACACC) is to protect and serve the residents of Adams County and the general public by providing progressive and comprehensive correctional and rehabilitative services. These functions are achieved through well managed and effective correctional programming, including: the use of pre-trial supervision; secure incarceration; community re-entry programs, and highly accountable security methods. Minimum Qualifications: You must have a valid driver's license, no previous felony convictions and successful completion of all pre-employment screening. All training is provided.
