Description United Collection Bureau is seeking a full-time Correspondence Response Specialist to read, process, and respond to consumer correspondence received through various communication channels. This position requires strong reading comprehension, attention to detail, accurate typing skills, and the ability to communicate professionally in writing. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a team environment while meeting attendance and production standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Read, review, and process consumer correspondence accurately and efficiently. Prepare written responses using proper grammar, professional tone, and appropriate collection terminology. Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to complete daily job duties. Follow verbal and written instructions from management. Maintain accuracy and professionalism when handling consumer information. Communicate effectively with teammates and management. Multi-task while maintaining attention to detail. Use problem-solving skills to handle correspondence-related concerns or tasks. Work all scheduled assignments and meet work standard requirements. Maintain consistent attendance and work all scheduled days. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Some post-high school education preferred. Above-average reading comprehension skills. Strong written communication and grammar skills. Professional communication etiquette. Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and follow instructions. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to effectively communicate with management. Must be able to meet attendance and work performance standards. Must be willing and able to complete a fingerprint-based background check as part of the hiring process. Must be able to work full-time, day shift. This is an in-person position located in Toledo, OH.
