JOB SUMMARY

Touchstone Testing Lab is looking to grow and increase its capabilities in different types of industries. Touchstone Testing is an independent materials testing laboratory that focuses on testing materials for aerospace industries. As a corrosion/chemistry testing technician, you will be responsible for working with the test engineers to test our customer’s products or materials with a quality focused mindset. Your responsibilities will include testing of salt spray corrosion, stress corrosion and other chemistry relates standard test methods.

The new hires may not possess many of the following skills but should have demonstrated the ability to acquire these skills.
1. Must be detail oriented.
2. Work with test engineers to set up and perform testing to customer specifications.
3. Perform testing and complete all necessary test documentation.
4. Perform preventative maintenance or routine cleaning of equipment.
5. Maintain the lab space.
6. Create test reports and complete documentation for quality control.
